21st Century Charter put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 74-37 win over the Bowman Academy Eagles. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-12. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead 21st Century Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Terrence Hayes, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Hayes' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Lemetrius Williams was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. 21st Century Charter smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January. 21st Century Charter's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Bowman Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. The JV squad also secured another W pushing them 2-0 after dominating 64-42 to kick off an amazing Friday night for the Cougars. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the 21st Century Charter Cougars take on the Tindley Tigers down in Indianapolis at 3:00 pm EST for JV followed with Varsity at 4:30 p.m. EST on Saturday.
